ABOUT HERZUPO & OUR ARTFUL CREATIONS

So what's in a name?  

Herzupo is a name close to our heart…it represents several names of rescue dogs who have lived in our home and reside in our hearts. Rescuing pups sounds admirable, but it is truly the pups who teach us how to be better humans….and for that we love them dearly!

What we do 

Artful Creations are what we strive for.  Those creations can take the form of ceramics, beautifully glazed in various colors and textures or glass formed into various shapes and sizes.  We're constantly stretching the boundaries of our ceramics and glass craft with new designs, shapes and colors.  Our ceramic creations take the form of mugs, bowls, candles and other functional pieces.  Jewlery is a great way to express the ability of ceramics.  Necklaces and earrings come out in stunning shapes and colors.  We craft these into wearable art which will last for years.  Glass Fusing is another medium we work in to create stunning jewelry, check out our shop for the latest creations.

Why we do it

Creating functional pieces of ceramics or wearable art like ceramic and glass jewelry is often a long, challenging and learning experience.  That's a large part of why we do it.  When a crafted piece comes out just as you planned, or even better than you thought it could, well, that's just a great experience.  Beyond the process, there's the end result when we see it in the hands of our customers.  The smiles and appreciation are amazing as are the compliments and suggestions for crafting the next creation.
